Integrity

Pamela here.

I feel a lot of people who come to the studio are like me: they're looking for somewhere to be themselves, to feel at home in their own skin, and to find some meaning in their lives.  I want you (and anyone else who feels scattered) to feel like you can do that—wherever you are.  That's why I want Integrity to be a place where we can just pile up lounge around and be the human family we are supposed to be.

If I had my way, there would be a big pile of furs and pillows where people can just be together and talk openly about their lives and feelings right in the middle of the studio floor.

Life can be lonely. Open-ended. And so often we feel isolated in the human experience of suffering, or doubt.

I know that feeling. I think we all do.

And it's so hard to feel like you can do anything about it—to even start to figure out how to make yourself feel grounded -- centered and at home in your own body.

But you can! You really can. You just have to find the right place for it, the right people around you, and the right tools.

For me, that place is Integrity and Farmhouse 54. It's a place where we can get back to our roots as humans, where we can reconnect with our bodies and minds in a way that feels safe and comfortable— and where we don't have to worry about being judged or looked down upon for who we are (and especially not for what we look like).

It's a place where we can finally let ourselves be seen as whole beings instead of just parts of ourselves—where we can feel totally comfortable with ourselves and others, without having to hide behind masks or pretend like everything is okay when it isn't. In short: it's a place where we can be human again.

FARMHOUSE 54

“I’ve had my eye on this place since I was a little kid,” says studio and property owner Pamela Cooper. As a local to the area, Pamela has been witness the many iterations of this property over the decades, up until her purchase of the land in 2017. Renovations are currently underway, with future plans of using the upper floor of the farmhouse as a bnb, the property as a retreat / event center, and the yoga studio as a teacher training facility — putting Lake of the Ozarks on the map as an internationally renowned destination for yogis.

Originally constructed in 1922, Farmhouse 54 is getting some fresh prana thanks to updates and restorations.

Cars in the lot, sign in the drive — Integrity Yoga and Wellness at Farmhouse 54 opened its doors to displaced yogis in the wake of the global pandemic of 2020. We’re excited to be adding private events in 2023, contact us by email if you’re interested in touring our space to host your special occasion. We also host our own events throughout the year, so keep your eye out!
