Can’t Never Did Nothin’
I was always raised to never have nt's in life.
Take the words “can’t,” “won’t,” “shouldn't,” “wouldn't” and “couldn't” out of your vocabulary as much as possible. That goes for “trying to” and “going to,” as well.
Those words are already self-defeating. Stop saying you are behind (my bad one), you are moving forward just as you should be.
While we’re at it, let's reduce the use of the word “I.”
Turn your negative thoughts into positive statements.
And you know the term constructive criticism?
Please. Those two words don't even remotely go together!
“That was good but...”
Why not just say, “that was great!”?
Your opinion is just that, yours. A lot of occasions in my life, growing up, I heard, “that was awesome, but…” Looking back now , I can see where I remember hearing that, even if I knew it was great.
I can see where that kind of stuff right there can make someone feel that no matter what they did, it was never good enough.
Let's really think about our thoughts, words and actions. They are so powerful, and we really have no idea what one simple word can do to someone.
